Everything we run, and when it works
Nine trips. Five fit in a day, four are short tours of two to five nights. Each page carries a real day-by-day plan, a price table by group size, and a section on who it does not suit.
Day trips
All five leave and return the same day. Pick-up is from your hotel anywhere between Ganh Dau in the north and An Thoi in the south; the further out you are, the earlier the knock on the door.
| Trip | Out of bed | Back by | From | Season |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Four islands snorkelling | 07:15 | 17:00 | USD 42 | Nov – Apr |
| North island by road | 08:00 | 17:30 | USD 58 | Year round |
| Sunset and squid fishing | 15:30 | 21:30 | USD 29 | Oct – May |
| National park jungle trek | 07:00 | 16:30 | USD 65 | Jun – Dec |
| Scuba diving, two dives | 07:30 | 16:00 | USD 95 | Nov – Apr |
Two of the five are seasonal in a way that matters. The An Thoi snorkelling and diving trips work in the northeast monsoon, roughly November to April, when the south of the island sits in the lee. The jungle trek is the opposite: it wants water in the streams, which means the second half of the year. Read when to go before you fix dates around a particular trip.
Short tours, two to five days
These are not four versions of the same drive. Each length changes what fits: two days is the south, three adds the north, four adds the national park and a slow day, five is the only one that reaches the east coast and still leaves a day where nothing is scheduled.
| Tour | Nights | What it reaches | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phu Quoc in 2 days | 1 | An Thoi islands, southern beaches | USD 195 |
| Phu Quoc in 3 days | 2 | The above plus the northern capes and pepper country | USD 295 |
| Phu Quoc in 4 days | 3 | The above plus the national park and a free day | USD 385 |
| Phu Quoc in 5 days | 4 | The above plus the east coast and a second free day | USD 475 |
Every short tour includes hotel, all transfers, the guided days listed and the boat days listed. None of them include flights to the island, because the sensible routing depends entirely on where you fly from.
Choosing between them
If you have one free day
Take the four islands boat between November and April; take the north island road trip the rest of the year. The boat is the better day when the sea allows it, and the road trip is the better day when it does not — this is not a tie.
If you have two free days
Boat plus road, in that order, with the boat on the first workable-weather day. Do not put two boat days back to back unless you dive; the second one feels like the first.
If the whole holiday is Phu Quoc
Book one of the short tours rather than assembling four day trips. The tours are sequenced so that you are not driven from one end of the island to the other on consecutive mornings, and they work out USD 15 – 25 a day cheaper than the same days bought separately, because the vehicle is already paid for.
Not sure which one
Send your dates and how many nights you have on the island. We will tell you which trips are worth it in that window and which are not.

- The meals named on the day-by-day plan
- A WhatsApp number answered by a person, not a bot, while you are here

- Alcohol
- Tips, which are genuinely optional here

Questions travellers ask most
Are these shared or private?
Both. The listed price is the shared price, joining a group we cap at 12 on boats and 8 in vehicles. Every trip can be run privately for your party alone; the price page has the boat and vehicle charter rates.
For two people, shared is almost always the right call. From four up, private starts to make sense on money alone. Private or shared has the arithmetic.
What happens if the weather cancels a boat day?
We tell you 48 hours out if the forecast is against us, and offer either a different day, a swap to a land trip at the land trip price, or a full refund of that day. If the port closes at short notice on the morning itself, the refund is automatic and we do not argue about it.
Can children join?
On all of them except the scuba day, with age limits that vary by trip and are stated on each page. The four islands boat takes children from about four, the jungle trek from about ten. See travelling with children.
Do you pick up from anywhere on the island?
Yes, at no extra charge from Duong Dong, Long Beach, Ong Lang, An Thoi and Sunset Town. From Ganh Dau, Rach Vem or the far northeast there is a supplement on some trips because it is a 60 to 75 minute run each way — it is shown on the price table, not added later.
